Ok, a more rational and levelheaded post about snowboarding than my last one.

For all of you who are not followers of the sport, please take into consideration that people like Red Gerard and Chloe Kim do not represent the best of us. They're amateurs and newbies to snowboarding. Those who compete in the Olympics are nowhere near the professional level and should not be regarded as such. The highest level snowboarders are not teenagers who tweet about being "hangry" in the middle of riding a halfpipe.

Thanks for educating us. Where can we see the professional riders?

Your previous post was more entertaining, however.

@HoraceGreenley If you're looking for the men's category, try guys like Travis Rice or Scott James. For the women's, my favorites are Hannah Teter and Linn Huag.

@BlueMetalChick thanks. I will check them out

@BlueMetalChick Holy Shit! I just watched a Travis Rice video and it was unbelievable.

He made these Olympic half pipe riders look like they are just a bunch of kids hanging out at the mall.

@HoraceGreenley Oh yeah, he's one of the innovators of modern snowboarding. See that's the thing though, the Olympics SHOULD be considered new athletes launching their careers for being good for their age and low experience level. But people forget that. They think it's the peak of human ability in their areas.
