Questions for the spiritually inclined

To any who feel they have communicated with spirits-how did you do so?

Did you speak to them out loud? Or did you think at them? Or other methods?

To any who feel they have lived with spirits: have you ever noticed them react to things you only thought and did not say out loud?

I lived in a house 70/80's that had spirits. At the time never thought to try to communicate. Ghost hunters changed that later in life.
One week end my parents were out of town, i invited my GF and another couple over to watch movies and have pizza. They swore up and down they say my father walk in the house..took them on a tour and repeated all night long....its just us. They saw some one walking around the house when no one else was home. I had seen it myself at other times and it would freak me out. So had fun letting the spirits play with them.
