Once upon a time, Mary was impregnated by a Spirit.

Spirits have no DNA, so all of Jesus' DNA must have come from Mary, who could only pass on her X chromosomes. Therefore Jesus was born with XX chromosomes, or female, but He used He/Him pronouns His entire life. This is proof that trans people have existed for at least 2 millennia and are natural, and that modern day conservative Christians would have hated Him.

It's remarkable how that 2000 years old book describes things that science only discovered recently. Maybe there is something divine about it after all.

Dude, no serious historian denies the existence of Jesus.
@Matt85 neither did I.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@NerdyPotato Sorry. I didn't mean any offence.
@Matt85 it's okay, I didn't take any offense. I just don't understand what that remark has to do with this post, that's all.

Where did all of Adams DNA come from? He had no mother or dad..

The Bible actually says that the body of Jesus was of the Holy Spirit.. meaning that the Body of Jesus was a creation of the Holy Spirit.. Thats another reason the Bible calls Jesus ""The second Adam""

Your attempt to force Jesus and confused trans insanity is a fail..
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NerdyPotato Of course it was a real option.. Mary could have declined the honor.. She would have suffered the loss of being the most blessed woman in History..
@Adstar and she'd probably be tortured instead, right?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NerdyPotato Nope.. Again you project what you want to hear..
I love circular arguments. Start out with the conclusion you want . Then all you need to do is design a set of made up "facts" to support the conclusion you wanted to come to in the beginning. Then say.........."see, I told you so". ;-)

Like...........oranges are a source or electrical energy. I can prove this because if you squeeze one "juice" comes out ...so there you are.......oranges produce electricity. ;-)
@MaBalzEsHari yeah, religion is great at that. God gave us the Bible because He loves us and He loves us because the Bible says so.

This is not me vouching for the spirit conception theory. But scientifically there is a possibility of conceiving without the need for a male counterpart. It might be extremely rare. But not impossible.
Renkon · 36-40, M
@NerdyPotato Human parthenogenesis. It is usually found in reptiles and some species. In human being the possibility is close to impossible. At least there is no recorded occurances. But nature being nature, there is no law stopping from something like this happening in human beings
@Renkon interesting! I didn't know about that option. It still only involves Mary's DNA though.

@NerdyPotato I like to view nature through science. But something I have learned is that there are no surprises or improbabilities in nature. Though the explanation given by the church, as usual, is clumsy, you cannot reject such conception. If you venture in to spiritual science you realise the possibilities of may things we consider improbable.

Oh dear! Don’t you think that somehow Almighty God, the creator of all things might have had a hand in it, dear boy? Please read what the book says: “The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭35‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Please don’t limit the Almighty Creator!

@Mathers You make a sound argument, but I’m curious as to your belief that thinking in the way the poster did somehow limits God.

Is it not limiting to ascribe one path to glory for him? One text, one method? Isn’t the inconceivable creativity of the Divine challenged when we keep one color all to ourselves? The Bible limits the power, end expression of God for billions of people on this planet.

I guess I’m just curious as to how one thought is limiting but the other is not.
Mathers · 61-69
Just that God did it his way not ours. That is his prerogative. He is not a democracy . @Graylight
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mathers Okay. Thanks for expanding. That makes sense.
Tell me what you think of that of Adam?

When thinking about divine creation:
One from woman, but no man (Jesus)
One from man, but no woman (Eve)
One from neither (Adam)
@sexyjigsaw that's a curious case indeed. I have no explanation for that. No scientific one anyone. Adam and Eve must really have been God's direct creation. But the Bible is pretty clear that Jesus was actually born from conception, not created.
He made Joseph a cuck.

More likely Mary was a barracks whore and Jesus is half Roman. She needed an excuse not to be stoned alive:

“God did it”

How gullible can you get?

If you are buying the notion of immaculate conception then you might as well accept the notion of divine sperm or divine DNA or whatever.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Me giggling to myself. Jesus was born a girl.

Let them chew on that for a while. Of course, there's the Great Loophole of "miracles."
@Lostpoet who? Jesus? I think it's too late for that.

The DNA wasn't all Mary's though

@NerdyPotato Whos forcing anything...it just seems a slim red to attack homo and transphobes...
@bookerdana christians are forcing their views on everyone else. Banning abortions, books with any hint of homosexuality existing, drag performances, gender affirming healthcare. America isn't the land of the free.

@NerdyPotato The Zealot Republican views aren't mine but hey I only live here
