Jesus Is Lord!

Jesus walked this Earth 2000 years ago, and changed the course of human history forever. I used to have trouble accepting the fact that I didn’t choose to exist, yet had to be in this world. I saw the world as conditional, and people using one another for their own specific gains, benefits, or hidden motives. Yet this is a fallen world because in all of us wishing we had unlimited options and power, that is the desire to be God. The very reason human pride caused our fall into a selfish and cursed world through our own disobedience and ungrateful heart! There is so much that we love in this world, that we are to be grateful to our Creator for. Obviously we have found something good in existence, otherwise, there wouldn’t be eight billion of us alive on Earth today! Yet we want to resent our very Creator because we want unlimited pleasure, instead of the character, wisdom, and grit we gain from pain. Open your Bible my friend! All my life all I have done is think! The Truth is in God’s Word, the Truth is Jesus! He is the only selflessness, the only unconditional love, the only way to be reconnected to the One true love we have always been seeking out, with a desire to please and be seen and approved by, it is God, our Creator, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! There is no other wisdom but what can be found in God’s Word! Seek Him my friend, and that void, fear, and unrest you feel in your heart and soul will vanish! God Bless You All!

Are you sure that before you were born you didn't want to take on human flesh?

If "all you have done in [your] life" is to think, then clearly, you haven't done much; all you're doing here is reciting dogma. That's pretty much the opposite of thinking.

Here's a question to get you started: if "the desire to be God" makes you "fallen", then why do you seek to emulate Jesus? Why, indeed, do you worship a god who either doesn't want to be one, or is "fallen" himself?

Religion is not an excuse to abandon reason and logic. Please stop treating it as one.

@Rabscuttle
That is a very rude reply to a very nice and sincere lady.

Should no one have respect for your opinions either Mr Rab?

...just wondering.
Rabscuttle · 41-45
@laurieluvsit It wasn't rude at all; just clear and unambiguous, in response to a direct logical fallacy. Further, it SHOWED respect by asking questions to illustrate it. I didn't say "Neener neener, you're wrong"; I explained the most obvious problem and asked her to consider it.

Ignoring the issue wouldn't be respectful- that would be dismissive of her capabilities, as well as her desire for the truth.

Nothing good is ever gained from pain
I balk at propaganda like this being spread. Nobody needs to be made to feel as if they're inferior. I think you think you're trying to spread love. But the underlining text here is that it's made to make others feel inferior. It would seem you might think they should. But they should made to feel more than adequate.

The most detailed record of the life and death of Jesus comes from the four Gospels and other New Testament writings. These are all Christian and are obviously and understandably biased in what they report and have to be evaluated very critically indeed to establish any historically reliable information.

@Pfuzylogic what are these claims? What evidence do you have that Jesus existed?
Pfuzylogic · M
@James25 I seriously hope you are not serious about Jesus not existing. That is the easy way out of getting real with God.
James25 · 61-69, M
@Pfuzylogic you cannot prove that your Jesus or your God exists
