My sister says this a lot. She's been a good person all her life. Got diabetes at ten years old and despite her eating almost nothing every day for years, her sugars were always high. No doctor even now can figure out her labile case. She now has horrible complications, neuropathy in her feet, of pains, numbness. She can barely walk at 37. She says why would God allow this for people, when I've done everything right and am good, and now suffer constantly? It really does make one a bit frustrated 😟 I am agnostic, but I do feel there's some high power. But I agree, if they are all loving, why punish anyone???

@Baybreeze this disease is controllable. So much can be done, it hurts to hear how helpless people feel

@Ohplease47 It's controllable for many and labile for many too. Her body doesn't process insulin regularly through her pump or shots. It goes low very Fast, and dangerously. A few specialist said they can't understand her case , it's the toughest they've ever seen. Even with proper nutrition, diabetes over time affects organs , and it's a mean insidious disease for many.
