Good Morning. Some thoughts.

There were 10 out of 12 apostles who died horrific torterous deaths and never once said that they made up the story about Jesus raising himself from the dead.

The other apostle that didn't die horrific death was John, but he was hung, boiled in oil and still lived and in the end they banished him to the island of Patmos.

The other apostle was Judas who killed himself after betraying Jesus.

So think about that. If you find it hard to believe in the GOD of the bible, these men KNEW Him and died testifying that truth

That's right. People don't die for a lie. They die for something that they know is the truth. That's how certain they were that Jesus was the Messiah and Savior of the world. There were also over 500 Witnesses at His death and Resurrection.

Thanks for best comment. You're doing great. Just keep following the Lord and I know you will, because I know you love him with all your heart and soul. We need a few million more that are dedicated like you are, to the Lord. That is hard to find these days. 🙏🤗👍❤

@LadyGrace I struggle in faith like anyone else. Jesus Christ is my everything.
@SW-User That is obvious, that He is your everything.
@Disgustedman What bible do you use??? I looked that up. Gamaliel cautions the Jewish Sanhedrin against killing Jesus' disciples, saying that if their ideas were of human origin, they would "come to nought" and the Jews did not need to worry about them; but if they were from God, their ideas would be impossible to overthrow anyway, and if the Jews tried to stop them, they ...

Gamaliel's words convinced the council. So they brought the apostles back in and had them severely beaten. They ordered them never again to speak in the name of Jesus and then let them go.

Judas killed himself. Nobody killed him.
I don’t discredit Jesus existence but I have a hard time accepting we are to follow their rules. The Bible had to be approved my Cesar so it’s not the original text. It had to be edited and modified so 160 yrs after Jesus death it was put together in a manner the then king would approve. Could have easily been modified and it was it’s why the book of Enoch is not in it and why it’s on known or basphamy to consider Jesus and marry Magdalene a couple.
@userfawkes1105 What rules? Those who love jesus, follow him not because they have to, but they want to, out of their great love for him and what he did for them on the cross. It is never a forced thing. There is freedom in Christ.

Let's look to God's Word, to determine what the Bible is, not to man.

The Bible is the only book in all the world that can claim to be inspired, in the true meaning of the word. God is incapable of lying. He is sinless and no liar. The inspiration of the Bible means more than mere spiritual illumination and exultation, which comes to many people. The word "inspire" comes from a Latin word which means to "breathe on", or "breathe in". The Bible is inspired, in the sense that God did not entrust his Holy Word to just anyone. The Bible says that the Word was inspired by the Holy Spirit, giving HOLY men, what to write, who were "inbreathed" by the Holy Spirit.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable (to man) for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished (equipped) unto all good works." II Timothy 3:16-17. That's 2nd Timothy, chapter three, verses 16-17:

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost". II Peter 1:21.

The Bible is the eternal, unchangeable, and infallible (incapable of making mistakes or being wrong) Word of God.

It's God who gives wisdom, upon asking. He says, "Be not wise in thine own eyes." Proverbs 3:7

James 1:5 - "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, who gives liberally."

God's Word never says anything about Mary Magdalene and Jesus being a couple.
@LadyGrace I thought the Bible was written by people my bad didn’t know God himself wrote it and published it. 🤷‍♂️

All anecdotal. There are no documented records of when or if they existed. Can you link a list when and where? No date is know for Jesus' death, why would the apostles have better documentation?

@jshm2 Gamaliel’s Counsel

33But when they heard this, they were cut to the quick and intended to kill them. 34But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law, respected by all the people, stood up in the Council and gave orders to put the men outside for a short time. 35And he said to them, “Men of Israel, take care what you propose to do with these men. 36“For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and a group of about four hundred men joined up with him. But he was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. 37“After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census and drew away some people after him; he too perished, and all those who followed him were scattered. 38“So in the present case, I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action is of men, it will be overthrown; 39but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

40They took his advice; and after calling the apostles in, they flogged them and ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and then released them. 41So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. 42And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

So if this was from Paul, then it would have dispersed but as you can see it is not. It is from Christ/God, therefore they will not be dispersed as we have witnessed and Christ lives and reigns in our hearts.
Exactly. If the apostles were wealthy the Romans would have been all over this, yet......
