Is God a person?

Perhaps you have difficulty with the concept of 'love'? Why should one love one's neighbour? Why shouldn't one just accept there's a God? Interesting questions. But how about is God a person? Does that settle the argument why there's a concept of 'love' in the first place?

Jesus taught us that God the Father is a Spirit. He also taught us that He, Jesus, existed before the foundation of the world. Jesus became human, but He, as part of God, always existed. Therefore Jesus is and was both Spirit and Person.
