@Emosaur He's giving you the choice. Accept His son as savior, at some point during the gift of life and you'll be saved. Consider this, God lets you live every day even though you speak low of Christianity. God is long suffering with you and many others like you but He's willing to forgive you if you only call upon His son.

@Emosaur It's not forgiveness at all if there are conditions attached. @Matt85
@Emosaur Its not about forgiveness at the point that you choose to not accept christ. It's not forcing you to live a way of life against your will. If you reject christ and don't care to live your life in a manner consistent with his way, you are rejecting him,. He's not going to force you into a life that you dont want. and if you don't want him, you don't want the life he has waiting for you.
Its not a punishment.
But then we need to hit upon the fact that most peoples idea of hell isn't biblical at all... a final death is what you receive. you are held accountable for the sins you committed. You have not looked to be forgiven, since you don't believe or don't care for his interference in your life.

If you look at God as a God of love, it helps to understand the messages he has given us.

@Emosaur Yes he is. Thats why we get a choice. As in, that one choice is the condition.
@Emosaur I'll be a bit more clear. The condition is your love. if you say no, he wont force you. if you say yes, he will welcome you. Even God knows that no means no.

@Emosaur It's no tall order to start a relationship with God. God made you and He made the world we're living in. God could just pull the plug on all of us if He wanted but He doesn't...And I believe the scripture is Romans 10: 13 "For whosoever shall call upon the lord shall be saved". It doesn't say all who love God.

@Emosaur What contradiction are you referring to?

@Emosaur No, there is like 1 condition to being saved - that you have to ask for it. I don't think that's a bad deal at all.

@Emosaur Okay so we are talking about 2 different things here. Let's break it down: There is God loving us unconditionally and God saving us. God loves us unconditionally but we are required to ask to be saved, easiest thing in the world to do. God loves us even if we are not saved...And that is unconditional.

@Emosaur Consent. God is asking for consent.

@EmosaurNot trying to be rude. Can you just explain why that is relevant?

@Emosaur For allowing such things to happen?
You will see what you want to see. Im sure as hell not here to make yo believe anything. Just because you dont understand does not mean there are contradictions or an unloving, unjust father in heaven.
But good luck with this. @Emosaur
