You reject logic to cling to the nonsensical idea that nothing became something for no reason (big bang being the most commonly accepted) You believe again for no reason that life sprang from non life (Abiogenesis) and that thanks to endless time life evolved into ever more complex beings despite the fact that the odds of just getting all the right bits in all the right places of a single celled creature is 1 E 42,000 The number of seconds in 13 billion years is 1 E 17. The estimated number of atoms in the known universe is 1 E 90. Combine that with the universal constants that impossibly line up to make the planet earth habitable and you have 4 impossible things in place for life to simply begin. However the fact is that a single celled animal would die very quickly for lack of food while a single celled plant would soon die from its own toxic waste without other life forms to support its existence. Life does not live in a vacuum. It has all kinds of other life forms that enable it to survive in an impossibly intricate maze of interconnectedness. Logic and reason are not on your side. As I said before when you reject the LOGOS you reject logic.

I am okay saying I don't know how or why the universe and all of its complexity is. I don't feel the need to explain it, I'm just grateful that it is. And just because I don't buy into your explination you think I'm illogical. Okay, sure, fine, whatever dude.

@SlaveEt Except that is not what you are saying. You accused me of believing in a spaghetti monster which is on its face untrue since you are the only one who mentions it. The facts are the facts. It is impossible for the universe to exist without a LOGOS causing it. I have given you the numbers based not on religion but on science and now you want to ignore them. How many impossibles does it take to shake your faith? Mine was destroyed when I began to look at the complexity of a cell. How could such a magnificent machine work so well even replicating itself be the product of simple chance and happenstance? The answer was obvious. It couldn't. However if it couldn't then what could cause it? Buddhism doesn't have any answers. I looked there. Islam is a joke. Judaism is interesting but it is not complete. Christianity and its idea of the Triune God WILL LOGOS and PRESENCE not only fit the bill but make perfect sense. As Jordan Peterson says "When the LOGOS speaks order ensues. When a lie is spoken chaos ensues. The more closely you conform your life to the One Who created you the more order you have in your life. The farther away from Him that you go the more chaos you find in your life.

You will find it in your heart when you open it up to your Creator.
