Which one? there have been so many though the centuries
@Justenjoyit But only One claims to be the real God and we know Him by experience. I know that it is very confusing to people to have all these gods in the world. There's only one that I know of that died to save us from the consequences and condemnation that sin put on us. I see absolutely no other gods in this world that have come forth to do such a thing. All the other gods seem to be man-made and have not shown themselves like the Lord has, and so these people have made up their own standards for salvation instead of seeking the will of God, and God does not change his standard for salvation and it is not up to man to change it to his own will. I have experienced this God for sure and there is not one pinch of doubt in my mind that he is real. The proof is in the experience and trusting God and I have found him fully trustworthy.

@Justenjoyit I don't know what that's supposed to mean.

@LadyGrace It means I dont want to get into a discussion about peoples beliefs, but want I dont get is why one belief has taken ownership of the word god and cancelled out every other god that has vome before this one🤷♂️
@Justenjoyit I honestly don't feel that any group has taken over the name of God and canceled out all the other beliefs. I say that because it's not about religion. Religions have nothing to do with salvation and God came to save the whole world, not just some. I feel it's not what we say is right, any of us, but when Jesus speaks and tells us that he is the way to salvation, he speaks to the world and for the world, and it is His standards and words that matter/count. He did not say follow the Methodists, or Baptists, or Lutheran's, or Buddhists, etc. ...He said follow Me, if you want to have eternal life in heaven and your sins forgiven. He has been to Earth and back to heaven. He knows the way and if he lied, he could not call himself Lord and Savior, because then he would be a sinner like us. He could not even call himself God, but this is not the case. I have seen many many lives transformed to new better lives, after having accepted Jesus as their Savior. And that's only something that a touch from the Lord could remedy. Are we to believe in man-made statues of wood or gold and Idols that do not hear nor see nor care? Jesus went to the extreme lengths so that we could know him and trust him and know of him and his ways. Our souls live on and so we must make the decision where they are going to end up, before we cross over. That is definitely something we don't want to leave to chance. I really don't understand why we need all these religions and a million gods, when one will do and he didn't leave us to guess about that, but it's up to us if we want to believe or not.
@Ynotisay Tell me how other gods claim to be the real God. In the Bible we have the direct word from God and why he came to Earth. I have heard no other God open their mouth, have you? It is the people speaking for them, and not only that, creating their man-made gods , yet only Jesus came to Earth and over 500 Witnesses watched him die on the cross for our sins. What have the other gods done for us and when have they revealed themselves directly to us like the Lord Jesus?

@LadyGrace I'm not going to tell you anything. That's not my job. If you're curious it's not like the information isn't available. Here's a Wiki page on Creator Deities to get you started. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creator_deity
But just to toss it out there, when you say "We" and "Us" you're really talking about YOU and those who think like you do. I'm not a part of your "we." Billions believe in other creator deities. I believe in none of it. So careful with "we." Gotta' qualify that.

@Ynotisay I know you're not, because you can't. You don't have the answer to my questions. I answered yours but you can't answer mine. And I was speaking of those who believe in Christ, when I said "we"....AND that "we" does include everyone on this Earth because we are all in the same boat, in need of Salvation so we can live in heaven when we die. God's principles and Word INCLUDES every person on this earth, whether they like it or not. It's up to others as to whom they want to believe in, of course, as there are many gods but which God we choose, determines where we will spend eternity, so it's important to decide whom we choose. It's a fact that we all have one appointment that we must keep. None of us are going to get off this Earth and where our soul goes after that, is determined by our decision. That's why it's so important. Our soul never dies but continues on in eternity . God said so in His Word so it is not my hearsay. He didn't leave us to guess. Of course there are those who don't believe in anything and that's up to them.

@LadyGrace You didn't really ask me a question. You made statements posed as questions. You did ask, "Tell me how other gods claim to be the real god." I sent you a link that shows that. There's unlimited information out there on the topic. Every religion that believes in deities has the same thing in common. They believe their god is THE god. You can't deny that. It's baked in to the religious cake.
That's why you shouldn't say 'we.' It's arrogant and 100% wrong. Pray to a freaking rock for all I care. But don't tell me about "we." Thanks.

@Ynotisay I didn't ask you to send me an article. I wanted to hear your opinion. If I wanted to read an article I would have searched myself but you were the one that made a statement about all the different gods so I was hoping you would back up your theories. You claim there were many gods and so I was simply mentioning the differences.
No it's not wrong and it's not arrogant. I was quoting the Word of God.

@LadyGrace Do you want my opinion or do you want an answer to your question. I'll start with the latter. Religions that espouse Creator Deities believe THEIR god is THE god. Don't try to argue that because you can't. That's not a theory. Or an opinion. It's provable and factual.
And don't think you really want my opinion. And I don't really feel like it sharing it with you. It's pointless.

@Ynotisay
Don't assume. If I didn't want your opinion I would not have asked. I'm not a know-it-all. Your opinion matters. I want to know how you see these other gods. Yes, of course everyone believes that their God is THE God. So what I'm asking you is, how do you think they can say that, the other religions that is, that their God is THE god, when their gods are man-made as we know, which the Bible calls idols, because they are man-made of gold or wood or whatever material and they cannot speak, see, nor hear? How do you feel about that? I'm just saying that if there is a better way and a better God, then what would that be, that is, whom already exists? I have not seen a better way. And I have yet for anyone to show a better God or better way of salvation. Because the Bible says that we cannot earn our way to Heaven by good works or deeds. That we are saved by grace through faith, which is unearned favor from God.

@LadyGrace OK. Thanks for that. All right. Since you asked here's my opinion. I think religion, all religion, is nonsense. There are no supernatural deities and there is no life after death. I'm an animal. I'm good with that. I have morals, help those in need and have no need for a doctrine on how to live. I think religion is the most detrimental, human-created construct that mankind has ever known. Hundreds of millions have been killed over it and many more have been oppressed because of it.
So, there you go. You do you. I'll do me. But don't think that just because you believe something that I have to respect it or agree with it. Because I don't. Have a good one.

@Ynotisay Well there you are. 😊 That wasn't hard. Thank you for that. No. I never said that you had to agree with me. Jesus was against religion, too. Because religion has nothing whatsoever to do with salvation. Anybody can claim they have religion, but that doesn't mean they have made a commitment to him and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Even the devil believes, but he's not saved.
