Trying to believe in God, but cannot

Why he let evil people get away?
Like forreal. I'm so angry at him. Have every right to be angry. When a jerk almost killed me and took nudes of me, but walking his life free like why

That wasn't God responsible for those things but Satan..God gives us free will to choose and can allow things to happen that we don't understand..
Sometimes we go through tremendous trials only to be strengthened in him
The fact that you want to as important..
Listen to that voice that's your spirit that is God speaking to you through your conscience even when we don't realize is there he's always with us.
And what his son did for us all of us is incredible that we even have that opportunity because of him and it's free just think what this world would be like it's nobody had a conscience or any moral values that's what's waiting for the people that don't believe a world full of it.. void of love.. and for eternity.

God is responsible as he created Satan.
SW-User
@SW-User And would you have preferred it if God hadn't given you your free will?
SW-User
@SW-User Free will does not make things right. God allows so many horrendous things to happen, which no amount of free will can change.
SW-User
@SW-User Exactly free will is not always used rightly. Sadly many people misuse the gift of free will that God gave us. Human beings are responsible for the decisions they make.
SW-User
@SW-User So it's not God's fault but ours. Everything bad that happens to us, including bone cancer in children for example, is our fault. God is blameless, except for the fact that he is supposedly the creator of everything. I'm afraid that's just a matter of faith. You can see that God does not give a flying fuck for anything in this world, but you want to believe he does. That is delusional.
SW-User
@SW-User I would like to hear how you know that a child dying of bone cancer is worse than would have happened if the child had lived. I am extremely curious to hear how you know what would have happened if the child had lived.
SW-User
@SW-User I'm not getting into that, just as I am not interested in your making excuses for God creating misery that's not our fault.

I would also like you to go to a grieving parent whose child has just died of cancer and has just cursed the name of God, and repeat what you have said to me.
SW-User
@sweetums Why would you blame Satan? He was gods scapegoat. In the bible most evil acts are comitted by your all so loving god.
Without Satan humans would have never eaten from the tree of knowledge. Why would god keep people from gaining knowledge?
SW-User
@SW-User Plus, of course, didn't God create Lucifer/Satan in the first place..?
SW-User
@SW-User Yes he did and Lucifer was the first one to realize what a terrible creature god is.
SW-User
@SW-User You're not getting into it because you and no other human being can possibly know the answer to that question. And that's exactly one of the points of having faith.

There are many parents who have expressed that sentiment. I've heard it from parents without me having to say it to them. They find meaning in their pain. That's part of what makes for greatness in human beings, the ability to find meaning in trials, and thus rise above them, rather than just being bitter and complaining.
SW-User
@SW-User Seldom have I heard anything less compassionate. You are a true Christian.

I hope that you don't lose a child to cancer, or anything then.
SW-User
@SW-User No, Lucifer was the first one to show pride.
SW-User
@SW-User Parents have said it to me. Tell them they aren't dealing well with the unexpected deaths of their children.

Your failure to acknowledge that there is an infinite amount that you do not know shows that you are not really interested in learning.
SW-User
@SW-User Regardless, God was still perfectly ok with letting Lucifer/Satan create untold misery for billions of people throughout history. That is, assuming you absolve God from all responsibility.
SW-User
@SW-User Well neither of us are getting anywhere here.

But the way I see it, I would still struggle to see the death of my child as justified because it's all part of "God's plan". Some people might take comfort from something as ethereal and meaningless as that, but I won't.
SW-User
@SW-User Your repeated tendency to change the subject shows that you are not really interested in learning about this subject.

There's an answer to your statement about God letting Lucifer create untold misery. If you really are interested in learning why, look into it. At the moment while you are in your current mindset there is little point in trying to explain it to you.
SW-User
@SW-User I am of the opinion that there is no God and no afterlife. That has always been my viewpoint.
SW-User
@SW-User I trust that there are good reasons for things that happen that I'll never know in this lifetime.
SW-User
@SW-User I most certainly respect your opinion.
