What do you base your beliefs on

I know there are people who [b]say [/b]they just believe in the Bible, but I don't think that is actually possible. There are always other factors influencing their beliefs.

@ServantOfTheGoddess I’m glad you asked actually. I see his handy work. Every time I look up into the sky I see the stars he flung up there and told them to stay. I see the sun that he placed and told it to shine… as well as the moon 🌝 🌚.. I see him in the majestic mountains, and the valley below… I see him in the human body with all its complex systems that HE designed. But most importantly it’s like the little boy that’s kite got so far out of site, and somebody asked him, how do you know it’s still up there. He said, “cause if feel a tug every now and again”… and so like the little boy I feel my maker tugging and talking to my heart … He reveals himself to those that believe and obey him.

But, I still maintain that you don't "just believe in the Bible". For one thing, which Bible? As you know, different Jewish and Christian traditions include different books in the Bible, and that makes a difference to the overall message. The Bible itself does not tell us which books it includes, so that is the influence of other factors right there.
