Truthful or radical?

These days there's a lot of talk about radicalisation of faiths. I like to put you a question now. In the parable of the paralysed man being brought before Jesus, is it right for a lesson or reading to tollerate someone else focusing more on the friendship of the people bringing in the man before Jesus than the miracle of healing instead? Do you think that it's in the nature of the good book that a christian needs to keep the attention of one's audience to solely the deeds and words of God? Moreover, is it really a sin not to, and does one need to voice that? Can one indeed substain such a stand amidst non-believers or lapsing christians?

The main point of the healing of the crippled man was not how Jesus was a nice guy for healing the man. It was not about the man being worthy to be healed.. It was not about the people who lowered the man into the house to get him in front of Jesus..

The main point of the healing was to prove to the people who where present that Jesus could forgive the sins of men.. Some of those present thought that Jesus was being blasphemous when He told the crippled man that His sins where forgiven because they believed that Jesus was only just a man and not God made manifest in the flesh..

(Luke 5:19-26) "And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. {20} And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. {21} And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, [c=4C0073]Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?[/c] {22} But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? {23} Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? {24} But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. {25} And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. {26} And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day."

The healing of the man served the purpose of Jesus,, not the mans purpose..
