Yes, and God has more than proved that. That's a given. One has to be blind not to see it, so I don't know why people debate it. It just gets ridiculous.

@LadyGrace
With my full respect for you as always.........
What is trully ridiculous is to find proved a certain unscientific narrative about the natural world in scriptures that have better merits for other purposes.
For the ones that believe in creation there is another "book". The material physical reality in itself.
That seems to be neglected by not all but some of them as source of a better description AS IT IS.
And not as is preached with ignorance.
Such "book" when seriously researched (that is by Science) "says" the same as what other scientists believers or not, also find.
Those not only pseudo scientists but also mainly pseudo believers on their own words are the very image of the blind guiding another blinds.
@ElRengo Just because two people don't agree, I don't think it's right to call their opinion ignorant. When I said "ridiculous", what I was referring to, is all this back and forth business, arguing about God. I'm not for that. It solves nothing and I don't think the God I believe in, would be happy with the ongoing degrading between two debaters that I see going on here all the time. Debate is okay, but when people start digging at each other and all this going on about "proving" everything, that really gets out of hand and I don't think it's healthy to go on and on about it. I think it's a real turn-off and immature, yet it never seems to end. I think people can disagree without this repetitive hostile behavior. While one may not believe in God and the other does, as a believer, I don't feel God needs to prove himself to anyone. He already did that thousands of years ago and look what happened to him. Some believed and some didn't. He ended up fulfilling his mission anyway regardless of disbelievers, and they crucified him, but he never stopped loving them. He died even for those who would despise him and curse him, and on the cross what did he say? He said, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." He was praying for his enemies that spit on him and cursed him, beat him, then nailed him to the cross. He was not a hostile man nor one out to hurt . He only wanted to save them from the condemnation that sin placed on us all. Some will believe that and some won't. But there's no need to get hostile over beliefs, from either side. One man's perception about God and life will not always match the others perception of such. So be it. I don't think it's our job to convince each other. I believe if a man wants to find God, he will because he wants to and when he's ready, if at all. In my heart, I truly wish everyone would believe in God and turn to him, but that's not reality and it's not my job to convince anyone. God said, if you want a relationship with me (and not religion, which is nothing but empty man-made philosophy), you will find me, when you search for me with all your heart. He's not wanting to force himself on anyone and he won't make that decision for anyone. His Holy Spirit does speak to people's hearts, but that doesn't mean everyone will accept him. God still loves them just the same and nothing will ever change that. Religion and science have absolutely nothing to do with salvation. Lastly, my faith is not blind. I know exactly what I believe, whom I believe in, and why.
