How do you rationalize cherry picking the parts of the old testament you like and ignoring the rest? [Spirituality & Religion]

Very ignorant uninformed people! who will grasp anything that will help them feel superior to other people! They would simply say that being gay is a worse sin (as if there is such a thing) than wearing mixed fabric. See in this instance they are able to apply logic? And of course it doesn't really matter what it "actually" says. It only matters what they want it to say! It's all so confusing!😧
