@PlumBerries: Agreed. Although I have to say, the atrocities of Hindus are often overlooked. It wasn't even that long ago that "sati" was outlawed in India. Which is ridiculous. By law, a widow was forced to kill herself by leaping into her husband's funeral pyre and burning alive. That's about as fucked up as it gets.

@Fernie: It's just part of a very long list of reasons why I'm such an aggressive and physically violent person to this day, why I have an obsession with my own pride and fighting for it, and why I hate religious institution with a passion. As my sister says, I'm "quick to the sword." Which is ironic because she's actually the one who knows how to sword fight. She even keeps a rapier by her nightstand.
