Would you remain loyal to God if heaven wasn't promised to you? [Spirituality & Religion]

I love Jehovah because of what he is and how he shows what he is. If you would take away everything he has promised us and he gives us, then he would no longer show us his love, and I would not be able to know him in the way I currently do. Currently I need the promises to get to know him better and to come to the point where I no longer need them, but already know him for our past.
