Why do theists describe the atheist position as "nothing happened to nothing and created everything" as if nothing should be the default position? [Spirituality & Religion]

What makes you assume that nothing is the default state which something must replace? Sure, the bible tells you that in the beginning there was nothing. But what does a bible passage have to do with what atheists believe?

There is nothing in the bible that refers to Atheist's.
Either one believes in what The Bible says, or they don't. The choice is yours. We have always had the Choice.
It does speak of NON-Believers. Even they have free will to make their own choice.

@Carla1951:

I think you've misunderstood. I'm not suggesting that the bible refers to atheists. I'm asking why a theist would characterize an atheists belief as "nothing happened to nothing until everything began" when there is no non-biblical reason to suppose that nothing is even possible

@MetalGreymon: Simply for the mere fact they *Atheist* can argue much easier than accept Truth.

@Carla1951:

So... your answer to why theists characterize atheists as believing that something came from nothing is that atheists "can argue much easier than accept Truth."

I'm sorry, but it seems a lot more like you're preaching than you are actually responding to my questions.

Please try to answer the question directly
@Carla1951: Pardon my pedantic nature, but Atheists 'are' mentioned in the bible.
