Why do theists describe the atheist position as "nothing happened to nothing and created everything" as if nothing should be the default position? [Spirituality & Religion]

What makes you assume that nothing is the default state which something must replace? Sure, the bible tells you that in the beginning there was nothing. But what does a bible passage have to do with what atheists believe?

Holy repeat question! I think it badly needs rewording, tbh!

[c=#7700B2]It has something to do with this book by Canadian scientist and atheist Lawrence M. Krauss: A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather Than Nothing (2012).[/c]

He got a lot of flack over the title from Christian and Muslim scholars who wanted to claim an atheist supported their position.

@Peekaboo:

how would you reword it?

@Peekaboo: Even preachers know how to spell.

@Carla1951:

Well i'm not sure which words i'm meant to have spelled wrong, but i'm even more unsure of what spelling has to do with the subject.
Do elaborate...

@MetalGreymon: I'd go for a factual story instead of a question. Mention that atheists really don't believe something came from nothing.

@Peekaboo:

This is a question board. So i asked a question.
But clearly the point was conveyed. So why quibble over wording?
