Does life matter if we have no after life? [Spirituality & Religion]

Honestly when I was an atheist I wondered if nothing lasts then everything has no meaning.

I like to believe that there IS an after life.. obviously I don't know, nor do I have any way of knowing in this life but just the thought is comforting

After life or re-incarnation, idk

No its not. You can still have a lasting effect on the world. Think about all the people through out history. Were all of there lives meaningless? No they lead to you and me. I think thats pretty meaningful
