Don't you think this strange that some people believe aliens but not god? [Spirituality & Religion]

I thought that God/Allah etc was a word for a superior being??

@Fernie: that and there's entire galaxies out there... Hundreds of thousands of galaxies, all with their own solar systems and one would be bound to have some sort of life form if any at all. It's not impossible

@Shadowstep: humans are so arrogant ...you are right...the chances of there being other life forms in this endless thing around us is so probable...I think they were here at some point to give us a hand up...I think they'll be back...to see how we are doing...I wonder sometimes if the dead planets around us weren't failed attempts at humanity...we are about to destroy this planet...

@Fernie: lol we live in a world where there is a food chain in which each animal think it's a predator and till it's "discovers" their is a animal bigger and smarter then it. Don't you think we are a little too cocky just because we are top of the food chain on the planet? That is that compared to the universe? Do you really think we are biggest or strongest in the universe? Or that "aliens/god(s)" have the same limitations as we do?

@Fernie: I agree. What are we compared to the universe? We are nothing but for some reason we don't what to expect that.

If you even look at all the religions... they are all saying the same thing at the core. Its almost there is a some truth to what they are saying and everyone put their own spin on what they saw.

I imagine it as if we saw some major miracle that god/aliens exist and we wrote it down to tell people in the future that we saw it with our own eyes (and maybe even recorded it) but a hundred years down the line... people saw our " ancient texts/ video)" but didn't believe it because they didn't see it with their own eyes... and of course video can be faked right?
