Why will a god make a covenant about circumcising boys? [Spirituality & Religion]

The bible has some good concepts about life, but damn some stuff is just bizarre

Because he didn't. At some point our yahoo ancestors made up their minds that circumcision was a healthier way to live and decided that there was nothing like abit of the old 'fear of god' to add weight to their fun new law.

@Psychoticenlightment: Because it wasn't a God, because there are no Gods. Religion is nothing more than an attempt made by our mad, nutter ancestors, running around on their own back then, trying to make sense of a dangerous and confusing world.
