@Caligirl: I already do all of those things. The point I'm making is I would still go Home even if I didn't give Jesus a second thought. And that's because of how I treat and love people. :)

Nice people don't go to heaven...saved ones do. You can be both but just because you're nice does not mean you get into Heaven! People in jail have done a lot of nice things in their life at some point I;m sure but the Judge does not let them out based on how nice they are. Same principle.

Just seems a bit of a dick move. You can live a whole life doing good works but can't receive a reward at the end of it because you didn't believe in something which sounds totally mythical?

That's what everyone says but if you know that please tell me what parts of the Bible are mistranslated. The message is consistent in all of them, regardless of the translation/version of the Bible
