Why aren't people nihilists? [Spirituality & Religion]

Why isn't humanity full of nihilists? There is no solid proof that something will come after life. Eventually, the earth will be destroyed, the sun will die, and the universe will concede to its inevitable heat death. Humanity will destroy itself, and a feudal society will once again raise. There is hope for living, but there isn't really a point in a world that will die.
Because the vast majority of people are to scared to acknowledge the idea that their lives mean nothing. Humanity's own aragonites blinds them

@Daenius: It's simple physics: Entropy always increases (second law of thermodynamics). All energy forms will become heat, and everything with energy in the universe will become this singular form. Also, I am trying to understand the other perspective by sharing my own. If you disagree, please share your viewpoint, instead of criticizing my method, which has validity when asking questions.
