If science proved that God existed, would u (atheists) believe in Him ? [Spirituality & Religion]

This is a very difficult thing to ask. Because there is so much out here in the world that is concrete. Yet they still deny the existence of Jesus and the Crucifixion, and of course God Almighty. But isn't it funny that they believe in the Egyptians, Aztec, Incas, dinosaurs, dragons, George Washington, Geronimo, Caesar, and of course the fact that we came from monkeys. Are they confused. ☺

Evolution is about population genetics, a group that changes very slowly over time due to random mutation, genetic drift, survival, sexual selection and other factors. Human evolution is not about monkeys morphing into humans. It is not about a group of monkeys evolving into humans. It is about all apes, including humans, monkeys and gorillas, evolving from the same things over millions of years. The word “ape” may not generally be used by laymen to refer to humans, but science classifies all great apes humans, orangutans, gorillas, chimps and bonobos under the family Hominidae. Theists who don’t understand evolution shouldn’t tout their ignorance. Attacking evolution doesn’t get anyone any closer to belief in a deity anyway. We can throw evolution right out the window and there STILL isn’t any evidence to justify belief in a deity.

As much as you say that theists shouldn't tout their ignorance is an attack on the other side rather than evidence for your own understanding.
You stated this eloquently but I have seen too many "Lucys" to trust Science ergo Scientists/
@Pfuzylogic: I ever so enjoy how hypocritical that statement is. The poster of this question states that it's "Funny" and that we're all "Confused" because we don't agree with religion. And yet that's not an attack on us? I simply pointed out that you are ignorant when it comes to evolution, as proven by my earlier comment. There's nothing wrong with not knowing something, until you start acting like you do. That's when you appear ignorant.

@PotPrincess: Try me. I am completely comfortable with the idea that evolution is as much of a story to me as religion is to you.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Pfuzylogic: Atheists dont like science that proves that Jesus and other Biblical figures walked the Earth.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zonuss: Do you have Science mixed with history? What do you suggest happened in the time of Noah?
SW-User
@Zonuss: Stop telling us what we do and do not like lol, do you have evidence to support the bible stories? if so I would love to see.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: Is that question open for me? What in the Bible do you find as not worthy of truth?
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic: ok let's start with the whole world flooding in 40 days and all of the animals being saved on a big boat.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Kuronekko: Dear. Your mind is so narrow it would insult anyones intelligence to even have a rational debate with you here. You have not a clue about what goes on in the world of the supernatural let alone the real world.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: There is a lot of deep meaning in the flood. You would think that with the lineage of the patriarchy that it would be very easy to disprove.
The Bible can easily work as an incredible detailed artifact.
I am certain it happened. It is said that the Ark itself is in Turkish mountains.

What I love is the name of Methusaleh a man who lived 969 years. Some people think his name stands for the "oldest man" ever which he was.
Do you know what his name really means?
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Kuronekko: Dear. Youre not a believer. Not even science can satisfy you. You dont know what goes on in the world. Just be an atheist. And enjoy yoyrself
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic: well I am afraid I need more than "It is said" sorry.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: Where did it say that? Just accept that the Bible will stand until the starting of historic man is written elsewhere.
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic:
It is said that the Ark itself is in Turkish mountains.
you said it.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: There have been pictures taken of the Ark. you just can't go there now.
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic: right, how big was it exactly? for every creature on the planet to fit in and have enough food to eat for over a month..
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: Have you read Genesis?
The Bible doesn't go light on details.
Start at Genesis 6:15.
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic: The bible is just one book, it needs to be backed by other things to be proved, there is also a talking snake in there..just sayin.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: The dimensions are listed for you to read. I thought you wanted an answer.

Btw Methusaleh means "when he dies it will begin"
Isn't it wonderful that he was given that name 969 years before the flood!
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic: You wanted to answer a question about scientific proof of bible stories..what you said isn't proof of anything.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: It is proof that mankind has not credible story to replace the time of the Bible.
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic: For you, maybe. For the rest of us the world and scientific discovery keeps moving on.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Kuronekko: I would say staggers along. You are dealing with a lot of fraudulent scientists that do not check their work and follow the money to get their money. You put your faith in that ?
@Pfuzylogic: Let's say for the sake of argument every scientist ever is fraudulent and never checks their work. That's irrelevant. It doesn't matter if the most prestigious scientist in the world makes a discovery, or Joe Bob from down the street who can barely tie his own shoes. There is concrete evidence, you can hold it in your hands, stare at it for hours if you wanted, and it will not go away. Regardless of how many bible versus you quote, how much love you believe God has for you, or even if you simply just shut your eyes. I'm not saying don't believe, by all means enjoy your region to the fullest extent you possibly can. But don't sit there and tell us you have PROOF when all you have is a book. If you said to me "Hey, I found God's sandal in the desert last week and it's been tested and proven that it was in fact his." Then holy sh it I'll apologize and glory hallelujah I'll look into the whole religion thing. But until that day occurs, don't try and sell us on your bullsh it.

@PotPrincess: Well stated argument but the amount of understanding we actually possess about the universe compared to what there likely is to know would not fill the thinnest layer of a thimble. Evolution and all the mechanics of the universe are just as likely at this point to have found their design in some form of higher energetic sentience as not or some other option as yet completely unexplored. I find that the evolution of understanding supports the idea of intelligent design. but self affirmation is part of the fact that it is all matters of perspective, how one chooses to interpret the approximation of senses that are available to them. All I know is what I feel and have glimpsed on occasion. Symmetry, purpose.
