Is Satan really evil? [Spirituality & Religion]
I mean, isn't he supposed to punish evildoers in hell? A truly evil being would reward evildoers who came to him. Mind you, I'm a clueless athiest :P, but I've always wondered about this.

According to middle eastern mythology of Abrahamic origin. He invented sin. His ambition cost him his office as the source of illumination for the throne of God. The second the thought, "I will.." entered his mind, he was gone. The book of Job seems to imply a kind of business relationship between Satan and the Supreme being. Revelation makes no bones about Satan being evil, and getting his comeuppance in the end.
