God and the Devil can just be too much to deal with sometimes [Spirituality & Religion]

With life being already hard as it is, Why do I have to be in the middle of their war?

Let that fight be figured out amongst themselves, I rather have no part of it.

you mean your own conscience?

I mean the whole "If you don't believe in God that means you are with the devil"

I'd say: no, if I don't believe in God that should go without saying that I don't believe in the devil either. So how can I be with either one if I don't believe in none.

@dark548: if you don't believe in either then what does it matter what they say?

@Kuronekko: lol id just say peaceful coexistence 👍
@dark548: But you're missing the point. If you're not for God, that doesn't mean you're with the devil. It just means your sins have not been forgiven yet, and they are separating you from God. In order to have them forgiven, you just go to Jesus in prayer, acknowledging that you do have sins, and ask him to forgive you. You don't want to die without your sins being forgiven because they will separate you from God forever. He's trying to save you from that. But he can't do that for you. You must freely go to him and ask his forgiveness.

Just because someone doesn't believe in God or the devil and wants to just ignore them, doesn't mean God's plan will be changed. Besides, God is not mad at anyone. He loves us, but the sin that separates us from him, must be dealt with. There's nothing hard about it. He did the hard part. All he asks of us is to sincerely repent of our sins and ask for his forgiveness, turning from them, and then live a new life seeking His will, instead of living according to our selfish will, in sin. That's not hard. Then you'll have his forgiveness and will no longer be separated from God. He came to save you, not hurt you.
