In a nutshell textbooks for SCHOOLS rarely taught HISTORY as it actually was. They didn't want most of the truth coming out, and still hide a lot of it. There is no paper trail as it was before the internet or computer to say different than what is taught. But for many, many subjects / people / events in history there are paper trails that contradict what history books in school teach as truths.

Reports say that there are at least 100 uncontacted Nations yet many of these people ware the clothing of the outside world. And there are some of those uncontacted nations that has refused to allow missionaries to come in, they reject the gospel. And who's to say within the past thousand years these people were not contacted. Missionaries used to love to travel in what is called the jungles.
