Wanting to change and wanting to escape are two different things.

First you have to understand yourself and what you really want.

Why do you say that? CelticRose may be in an unhappy situation (i.e. lousy job or bad marriage). To escape from such a situation is to bring about change in the life she is living.

When i was in my 30's I did.

Now, I have made my life the way I want it to be and I find contentment and peace in it.

Make your life what you want it to be. Even if that means moving somewhere and starting over. I have started over at least 5 times in this life. I will probably start over again depending on what happens.

Go outside, make friends, eat more healthy, drink water, exercise, sleep, limit stress, read, get outside of your comfort zone, help others...

I know how to improve my life and to change things but even when I do I still feel empty.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Of course but I'm scared I would make it worse than it is now.
CelticRose · 36-40, F
@CrazyMusicLover you and me both on this one!

No, I'm content to wait for now.
