A combination of features, created by evolution, physical senses, and experiences, with the addition of abstract perception.
Incredible as it is, we’re still mortal, and we function by natural not supernatural means.

Of course, but we are not discussing a matter that is straightforward and doable.
Just observing a thing without any attempt to do something about it or with it gives freedom to explore. Is this not the intelligent way to reach the unknown?
Sure, but I’m trying to be practical.

Just maybe everything we observe is exactly what it appears to be.
Especially in the natural world.

Movement is relative to a point - any point - of reference. If you, the observer are that reference point, then everything (sun, moon, stars) does revolve around you. Creation is a theory invented by the observer which is an illusion in itself.
It does sound practical to the observer who still thinks so. To the observer who doesn't think so, it is anchored to the all powerful visible entity of the self.
People used to think the planet was stationary and the rest of the planets, the sun and the moon revolved around Earth within a huge glass dome, created by an all powerful invisible entity.

All for some unknowable agenda.
Does that sound practical?
