My sister called me this once and she never elaberated on why. I thought maybe it was because I have always been an introvert, preferring solitude in my own company. I can be overly sensitive and perceive things in a different way to others. I certainly never see eye to eye with my sister. People associate the old soul concept with reincarnation, believing they have lived many life times and accumulated wisdom over time. I personally do not see the point in this belief. So what does it mean to you?

When someone calls you an 'old soul', they usually mean you demonstrate maturity, introspection, and perceptiveness beyond your years. It may also refer to your intelligence, depth of thought, or your ability to relate to experienced individuals. They’re not saying that you possess multisensory perception, which I think would be a completely different level.
