God wants to be worshiped in spirit and truth..

I've noticed some want God's help, but they don't want to give Him first place in their lives. God can't help, if he's only important enough to people when they need something from him. The Bible says "seek ye first the kingdom of God and then all these things shall be added unto you." Those "things" are blessings and daily provisions/needs. God always puts us first. Why can't we put him first? There's no use calling on God to do anything, if one does not know Him, nor wants anything to do with him. Nor even cares about knowing him.

God is displeased with empty, mechanical performance of rituals, without a sincere connection to God or a transformed life. God desires a relationship with His people that is based on love and a genuine desire to follow His ways, rather than just going through the motions of religious practices. He wants people to worship Him in spirit and in truth, meaning with their hearts and not just their actions. He desires a relationship with His followers, one built on genuine faith, love, and genuine commitment.
