Freedom of thought comes from God. Also responsibility comes from Him as well. Freedom and responsibility go hand in hand, you can't have one without the other. Yes, we have the freedom to believe what we wish but we're responsible to believe in the Truth of God rather than the lie of Satan.

@GodSpeed63 According to the bible yes, we got freedom of thought from God , but it is who God made us ignorant. He made us to glorify him, obey him and tend his garden. To go forth and multiply. Basically we were made to be 'too dumb to question' servants. Ignorant minions who would eventually self propagate into an army of slaves.


Responsibility didn't come from God. It came with knowledge when we ate the apple, (to turn a relatable phras). It came when we finally understood 'cause and affect'. It came when our knowledge broadened and we could see past the blindness of ignorance.


And what did he do when he realized we were smarter. Did he glory in our advancement?
Was he proud his creation gained knowledge and wisdom?
No
He feared us.
He feared us so much that he expelled us, punished us, and defied us the abilty to reach the tree of life .
And why?
Why would a God fear his own creation if it was made in his image?
- Because Freedom and responsibility do NOT go hand in hand. Humanity made in Gods image has shown us that we come with the same imperfections He has.
Even knowing what ones responsibility is, doesn't mean one is compelled enough to oblige it. God didn't.
He made us then threw us away.


God has committed so many atrocities against his own creation BECAUSE he cant be a responsible parent. He has slaughtered, drowned, burned, and starved his creation all through history.
- which is abuse.

And like abused children, too many still blindly 'love' their parent out of ingrained fear, and mindlessly rhetoric his propaganda in the hope it will stop the abuse. That it will 'save' them.

Not realising that the act within itself is selfish -
Too obsessed about 'saving' themselves rather than being kind or helping or thinking of others, showing empathy.

And as to Satan. There is no Satan in the old testement. Satan, (ironically), is an evolution of a translation from Hebrew, through ancient greek to latin, that never meant 'Satan'.
Even the story of Satan evolved and became more elaborate as writing became more popular. The fame of Satan took off when printing was invented. Satan is a construct.
A construct used by the church to hide the diabolical nature of a irresponsible God who murdered his own son to 'allow' mankind to 'attone' for the sin HE planted.

What father punishes an unknowing impulsive child?
What father teaches with fear and ignorance?
A decent father teaches, guides ....with love...



....and responsibility.


Its a shame you can't see that in the beautiful complexity of the universe and the magnificent workings of the patterns in its physics that you can't see that it was designed to evolve.
To believe that your God is incapable of inputting evolution into his design pretty much shows that you dont believe your God is as omnipotent as you say.


Not to mention: in the bible we evidence of God evolving himself. Of self realization. Of admitting mistakes. Of change.

To deny evoltion is to deny the glory of creation.

There is no evolution to deny. God created man perfect after Himself before the fall of mankind. You're sadly mistaken to say that God didn't make us perfect.

If what you say is true. Then evolution is the only thing that explains us.
According to you, god simply willed everything into existence. It stands to reason he had some agenda in mind.something he can’t do himself . After all , even an omnipotent being doesn’t exert that much power and effort without a reason. And since god lives out side of time and space. Whatever it is, requires the ability to change and adapt. God.can’t evolve, so only by creating something that can , benefits from free will. Our fates would without choice otherwise. You’re already destined for Hell before you’re born, and god is roasting you for the fun of it. Why would anyone respect or worship such a complete bastard ?

What God doesn't do is lie. He's not a fallible man that He should lie. If He'd used evolution as a tool, He would have told us in His Word. God doesn't create things part way.

Then what are we? Poor half spirtual beings stuck in a material existence.
If we were fully created in his image, we would be Gods.
As shown by the tree of knowledge which enlightened our perception.
God only half made us. Its why we die. If we were made fully in his image, we would be purely spiritual beings - not needing more knowing, not needing sustinence to survive, its why were ejected from Eden after the fruit incidence. God didnt want us to reach the tree of life to become immortal, not even in this realm.
YhWH is supposedly an imperfect god, a half creation of Sophia. She disobeyed the rules and thought she could create on her own, and created a half entity, an imbalanced half god who ended up so deficient, all he could do was create beings in a lower reality -ours: Higher dimension souls stuck in 3D. His prison.
Mind you, its lucky we die. So we can finally escape from a jealous, cruel, deceiving impotent "god" He is a like a petulant child - he throws tantrums when we dont do what he wants and throws us away, creates dieases and famine to kill us and when that doesn't work, he uses a global disaster to wipe us out.

He has been deceiving for thousands of years. Deceiving so well, you think God is the good guy. If he was the good guy, why would be allow his leaders of his faith to greedily accumulate money, power and military while others starve and be in misery.
