Once a Christian.

I was brought up to go to Church and Sunday School and at the age of eight i made a profession of faith at seventeen I was baptised but as the years passed I have back slidden and although I attend Church I have little interest in spiritual things, even my language has a lot to be desired, sometimes I wish that I could get back to being a Christian, but I find it very difficult.

You made a proffesion of faith, was it genuine?

Also, sadly, we all backslide, when passion is low continue reading the Bible every day, even if it is less than what you usually read.

I cannot emphasise the importance of fellowship with other Christians at church, we all need eachother!

Lastly, if you have examined yourself and you truly do believe that Christ shed his blood on the cross and took the punishment for our sin, remember that God in his wisdom does not base our salvation on our good works and performance but solely by faith and by his infinite grace!
