Once a Christian.

I was brought up to go to Church and Sunday School and at the age of eight i made a profession of faith at seventeen I was baptised but as the years passed I have back slidden and although I attend Church I have little interest in spiritual things, even my language has a lot to be desired, sometimes I wish that I could get back to being a Christian, but I find it very difficult.

Sometimes when I am in a low place I wish so much that life was as easy as trusting in Jesus or something like that.

But the fact of the matter is that, prayer and faith doesn't actually achieve anything. There's no results from it because it isn't real and I know that. There's no such thing as angels and ghosts. The Bible was written by men not god etc etc.

So I had to look elsewhere. However looking elsewhere I found alot of great techniques for managing stress and see how it can be possible to be totally ok no matter what even without the idea of God.
@goneNow6565 However, looking elsewhere is not the same as attending to where your soul shall spend eternity. It's important to plan for that, to make sure we end up in the right place. If we neglect our soul, and don't make that choice, it shall stay separated from God forever. It's in the Bible. There is a choice that must be made, so that our soul goes to the right place. And yes, prayers do work. Perhaps you have not seen any prayers answered, but I have seen many prayers answered, including sparing my own life and my daughter's life. I have seen God transform many lives, by the Holy Spirit, when people invite and accept Jesus into their heart and life as Savior. This is something that must be prepared for now because there's no changing our minds once we cross over into eternity. This is something we don't want to get wrong.
