What is evil?

Since we are imperfect beings and have to deal with problems in life there is an infinite variant of good and evil. Good and evil stems from how we deal with problems in life. We can deal with problems by solving them without harming others. Or we can strike out against others causing the greatest of harm. And somewhere in the middle there is indifference. There is an infinite variance of good and evil in learning to deal with life's problems.

Evil is subjective. Nobody thinks they are evil.

@Morvoren Evil can objectively be defined as involving the intent to do harm, with prior knowledge to a reasonable person that harm is likely to occur.

@Stuffy So serving members of the armed forces are evil by that definition.
Stuffy · 61-69, F
@Morvoren right , the definition would need to be tweaked to allow that to not be evil. But it can be done

@Stuffy Like I said, it’s subjective.

@Morvoren I disagree. That’s not what my answer suggests. I think it just requires a complicated definition.

@Stuffy I don’t require your agreement.
Stuffy · 61-69, F
@Morvoren oh I know that. But I require my rebuttal.

@Stuffy Whatever tickles your pickle.
