Atheists, how do you feel when you see the beautiful Colours in a rainbow?

Do you really believe it is just science? If so, does it make you intellectually or emotionally conflicted to witness something so wonderful that is based upon something so dreary and mundane (science and maths)?

It is part of some terrific science. There is a lot more to the spectrum besides the obvious beauty. Best book on the subject is Unweaving the Rainbow: Science, Delusion and the Appetite for Wonder by Richard Dawkins. (1998)

Every element in the Periodic Table has interference lines in the spectrum.

This is a photo of another weather event. Don’t remember what it’s called, but it happens in the northern latitudes.
