Spiritual Warfare #6 - Demons & Deliverance

Christians have the power and authority through Jesus to be completely free from demonic oppression/possession. Dr. Odle teaches about the importance of deliverance and why it should be normal for the modern church.

I have never met a Christian who was able to think for itself and use logic and reasoning
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

Well, you haven't the few who do!
James25 · 61-69, M
@ArcAngel if you believe that the Bible is inerrant then you are not thinking for yourself or using logic and reasoning
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

You have a lot to learn:

Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I do think for myself, but I am humble enough to realize that our Creator is far superior to us.

@ArcAngel for example the story of Noah and the Ark. An example of an immoral God committing genocide
SW-User
@James25 yes, genocide of nephilims and giants (were having humans for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and people prayed to have them removed. For the humans that God created He told Noah to build the ark for anyone who didn’t want to be destroyed in the flood. It took Noah to build it for over a hundred years . Thats couple of generations. Parents, their children and grandkids had a chance to survive it if they wanted. The giants had to go before they had a chance to finish or corrupt the rest of human kind.

@James25 God is good all the time
James25 · 61-69, M
@SW-User that is a logical fallacy it does not prove it to be true. Also it is your belief that God is good all the time. By the very definition of belief it cannot be proven to be true.
James25 · 61-69, M
@SW-User interesting story. Regardless to kill all life on earth except that which was in the ark is immoral. Any justification of such an act is irrational without logical or reasoning. Which only proves my points.
SW-User
@James25 ya, nothing will provide to be true… that you don’t want to be true, no matter what. Ever. Probably, to each his own. That definitely provides to be true here. Have a great day ☺️

@James25

Once again, you don't know WHY God did what He did:

Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

These were the fallen angels who were evil.

Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

And these offspring of the fallen angels and human women were giants and were very evil and consumed every thing that man produced and when that
wasn't enough for them, they started consuming men, women and children
and then started consuming themselves.

Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And every imagination was EVIL continually.

Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

And the Lord did grieve about this action; hardly the thoughts of a genecidal
maniac.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Not only did the giants consume everything, but they also corrupted the
genetics of all living things and that is why God did what He did.
But Noah was perfect in his generations; which meant his genes were not
corrupted so the Messiah could eventually be born into the human family.
James25 · 61-69, M
@ArcAngel interesting story. But there is inconsistency in the story. God said he was sorry that he made man. God feels regret for having made men. This regret or sorrow by God is inconsistent with being perfect. It's denotes having made a mistake.
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

Just because He gave the angels and man free will to make mistakes, does
not mean He is imperfect.
James25 · 61-69, M
@ArcAngel your statement is a logical fallacy and does not actually address what I said. I did not reference Man's Free Will. I referenced God being sorry for having made man. Which is inconsistent with being perfect.
Also if God gave men and Angels free will to make mistakes then why would he be sorry for them making mistakes? There is inconsistency in that reasoning.
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

Why can't a perfect being feel sorry? And it is all about freewill choice.
James25 · 61-69, M
@ArcAngel because it brings into question that he made a mistake. Also if God is perfect and all knowing then he would have known everything that men and Angels were going to do. So why would he be sorry and have to destroy them? Which again creates an inconsistency in this story.
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

Do you believe the earth is flat or round?
James25 · 61-69, M
@ArcAngel] I know that the Earth is round. You did not address what I said nor my question.
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

The reason I asked you that is because I will prove the Genesis account
of creation and that the earth is FLAT and the sun and the moon are set inside
of the firmament. Here is a two minute video of clouds BEHIND the sun:

Check it out!
James25 · 61-69, M
@ArcAngel I watched the video. Interesting. But I would not go as far as to equate it with Genesis.
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@James25

It is simply an example and proof that the sun is local and it is inside the firmament just as Genesis describes
it.

@ArcAngel again you quote a collection of stories to prove your point. The book is a good read but all it is is another book.
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
@Like2play

No, it is a literal description of creation. I suggest you REALLY study it.
Like2play · M
@ArcAngel not going to spend my time reading it again. No need to study the stories. That is all they are and all they will ever be.

If you are unwilling to do the smallest amount of research, then I can't help you.
