There is no evidence that God is perfect

If matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed but only change its form then that creates the possibility that matter and energy are infinite and have always existed. This in turn creates the possibility that it is true. Which in turn creates the possibility that it can be proven to be true. Which then creates the possibility that it is true that matter and energy are infinite and have always existed. This also creates the possibility that there is a God but it does not create the possibility that this god is perfect but only that it is infinite and has always existed. Just as it creates the possibility that I am infinite and have always existed. Because there is evidence that matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed but only changes form but there is no evidence that God is perfect. Nor is there evidence that he is the creator.

There’s no evidence that God even exists.

@RedBaron the evidence of God is the way He transforms peoples lives for the better. Read my post just a few posts down about David wilkerson
RedBaron · M
@TheWildEcho That’s only evidence that people exist. They transform their lives themselves.
James25 · 61-69, M
@RedBaron I am only referencing God as not being what Christians and other monotheistic religions believe him to be. I'm only using God as a point of reference as to what they believe God to be.
RedBaron · M
@James25 But I was replying to TheWildEcho, not you. Thanks.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@RedBaron sadly many people cant transform their lives without God
RedBaron · M
@TheWildEcho Sadly, many more fail to grasp that belief in God is merely a self-fulfilling prophecy.

God only exists in your mind BECAUSE you believe God exists.

God doesn’t exist for those who don’t believe BECAUSE they don’t believe God exists.

There is no objective reality. A believer will never convince a non-believer to change his mind and vice versa.
James25 · 61-69, M
@TheWildEcho the belief in a god is a projection of one's own beliefs. They project onto a deity what they themselves want to be. They are projecting the transformation of their own lives through a deity created in their own image.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@James25 i take it youve never met anyone whose life has been totally transformed by God, not by a false deity created in their image
RedBaron · M
@TheWildEcho I have met plenty of people who have transformed their own lives. No proof of any assistance from an imaginary friend.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@RedBaron God exists, but so many people dont want Him to,
RedBaron · M
@TheWildEcho As I said, God exists for you because you want God to exist and you believe.

You will never convince anyone who doesn’t believe to change their minds.

That’s really all there is to it.

@TheWildEcho

the evidence of God is the way He transforms peoples lives for the better

...but people's lives are transformed for the better by god's other than the one in which you believe, or by Scientology or by Eckankar or by Raëlism or by the Ordo Templi Orientus and on and on.

Therefor, positive change in a person's life is not evidence of god. At best you can assert a correlative relationship but by no means does it demonstrate a causal relationship.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@Pikachu so i take it you know people personally whose lives have been transformed by those you have mentioned
RedBaron · M
@TheWildEcho As do you and all of us.

@TheWildEcho

Of course i do. One of my dearest friends from college left a toxic husband, raised her two boys and found happiness, balance and prosperity as well as a real husband all of which came when she starting following Wicca.

I'm actually surprised that this appears to surprise you lol

@TheWildEcho
I mean have you taken a moment to consider why people are drawn in and devoted to other religions or even cults?
Typically it's because they find it improves their lives. Christianity absolutely does not possess a monopoly on that "virtue".
