Sooo many memories

Lucifer....he was sneaky...he was a double agent. I am not sure at what point, but he sided with Michael in secret. During the rebellion. He was the one who developed the plan about capturing me and told him about the secret to how I created things. But he did this.....to expose Michael to me.

He knew Michael would betray him. He knows every secret. He knew he would be made into the villain and everyone would hate him, including me. But he did it because it was what was best for me. He did it to help me understand what Michael really was and the danger he was.

I see now why Michael was so badly jealous of him and wanted his position. But it was never his to take. That was simply not his role. Michael refused to "play his role", to be the sort of spirit he actually was. He wanted to pretend to be something he wasn't. He has tried to cover up very carefully what sort of spirit he truly is at his core. But I'll find it.

Lucifer designed mankind and the incarnation idea. He spun it to Michael in a way that made it sound appealing to him-make your enemies vulnerable and silence them. And he told Michael how to make it sound appealing to the rest of us. He let him play God and act like it was all his idea.

But I know why he made humans and incarnation, or rather why he manipulated things so that I would. Because he knew I needed to be mortal. To grow, to understand.
