Why do objects jump off shelves and counters in my house?

Over the years I have had MANY objects fly off shelves and counters for no reason. Most of the time it's happened in my bathroom, when I'm taking a bath. Like a few minutes ago a bottle of jojoba oil just flew off the counter and crashed on the floor for no reason.
It was sitting further back and nothing was near it. Several times I have had my blow dryer jump off the bathroom sink counter when I am in the tub. Another time I was in bed and a large space heater that had been sitting in the same spot on my bathroom sink for years flew across my bathroom and crashed on the floor.
One time I was looking in the bathroom mirror and a bottle of lotion levitated a few inches off the counter right in front of me! I picked it up out of the air and sat it back on the counter. Another time the same thing happened at my dining room table with a toothpick holder.
These things don't happen every day or even every week, but I have seen many objects over the years jump off counters and shelves. It's not just me either- other people at my house has seen the same thing.
What exactly is happening here? Poltergeist? Dead relatives visiting? Me somehow doing telekinesis?
It doesn't scare me at all, I am just curious if anyone else has had this happen?

Are there any local ghost hunters in your area?

@Peaceandnamaste I don't know. I mean, I am not trying to get rid of the ghost, if that's what it is. I just want to know who it is. I used to think it was my late husband, because the activity increased quite a bit after he died, but we had weird things happen when he was still alive. For instance, we had the bedroom door locked and had just finished sex, and all of a sudden the knob turned and the door opened and slammed into the wall. My husband ran through the house naked, thinking someone had broken in, but no one was in the house.
@Mardrae ever try to actually talk to the spirit and resolve things civilly? I have no idea if it would help. i consider spirits no better or worse than crummy neighbors and roommates with whom I know both past and present. sometimes negotiations are futile. another option would be to summon any sympathetic spirits you already know to mediate with and hopefully resolve this dispute with your current spirit who knocks stuff off counters.

@SalamanderWolfWoman yes, I talk to it fairly regularly, like when something disappears, I tell them to put it back. An ex roommate actually saw a ghost in my house and he freaked out so bad he moved out. He said the ghost was obsessed with me.
