When Will Jesus Return?

That's what a lot of people have been ask, even the mockers who fulfilled the prophecy found in 2 Peter 3:3-5:

3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God,

But, when they are confronted with the Truth of God, they run as if a Lion was after them. Just an observation, mind you. The mock, they ridicule, taunt, scoff, and they blow their own horn. And, yet, they refuse to support their gibe.

If a relative was coming to visit you and it takes them an hour to get to your place, why would expect to see them in a minute? They will arrive in the hour that it takes them to get to your place. They will arrive at your place at the proper time. In the same light, Jesus will come at the proper time without fail. This time, it won't be in a manger but as King of kings and Lord of lords.

This is the Truth that can't be refuted.

This is also the Truth that can't be refuted.

Be praying for you all to know the Truth.

There's no doubt that we are in the last days, as we have never seen the signs that we have seen today. And common sense tells us that when we see the Earth fading away more and more each day, the end is nearer, but if we prepare, it will be the best days of our lives, as we will go up in the rapture and miss all the turmoil and catastrophe that shall happen on Earth after we're gone.

@LadyGrace the majority of prophecies have been fulfilled. There are still some but we are getting near. One of them was an increase in knowledge (rapidly)…look at all the things that we access today to study, research and learn from.

@LadyGrace For centuries Christians in all parts of the world have been saying this.

Why not concentrate on the work of Jesus rather than guessing when the last days will be?

Every generation can say "we have never seen the signs we have seen today." It is a ridiculous thing to be distracted by.
@Zeusdelight
For centuries Christians in all parts of the world have been saying this.
Yes, that's what they all said about the flood, too, and didn't believe Noah, and mocked him, but it still came. Jesus will be coming back pretty soon and that is so obvious from the way this Earth is dying, it's pathetic. There's no guessing about it. He told us clearly in His Word what he was going to do. He always keeps His promise, and His coming back is one promise He is will definitely keep.

@LadyGrace Don't you believe in your Bible:

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

And please I don't comment about your relationship with God, so please don't presume to know anything about mine.
@Zeusdelight I reread my comment and I didn't like it either. I didn't realize how that sounded and I certainly didn't mean anything bad towards you, by it. We should all prepare for His coming.
Don't you believe in your Bible:
"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
I agree with your quote...no one knows what day nor hour the Lord will come, however, the Lord did tell us in His Word, which signs to look for that tell us the approaching of the end times.

The apostle Paul warned that the last days would bring a marked increase in false teaching. “The Spirit clearly says that in later times, some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons” (1 Timothy 4:1). The last days are described as “perilous times” because of the increasingly evil character of man and people who actively “oppose the truth” (2 Timothy 3:1–9; see also2 Thessalonians 2:3).

Other signs of the end times would include a rebuilding of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem, spoken of in the Bible, as increased hostility toward Israel, and advances toward a one-world government. Revelation says this will lead up to the Battle of Armageddon.

Some also in Matthew, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, Ezekiel and Daniel, etc.. God has given us enough information, so that we can prepare. He did send us signs. I have never in my life seen such false teachings, people following demonic beliefs, definitely the increasing evil character of some people, and so many opposing Christ's truths in His Word. We're also definitely headed towards a One World Government, which is another sign from the Bible that the end times are approaching. Of course those who don't want to see these signs will dismiss them and explain them away as coincidental, or "old signs" etc., but God didn't leave us to guess about these things.

The prophet Joel spoke of God's signaling to us the nearing of the end times by signs in the heavens. Joel 2:30-31

There are many things happening in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the wholeworld. All these signs, coming together at one time like never before, may potentially be the culminating signals that God is closing this chapter of human history. According to bible prophecy, especially Daniel's prophecies, we can follow to the Great Tribulation mentioned in the Bible. God always warns His people, and the rest of the world, before He intervenes. What better way to communicate to us, than through the universal language of heavenly signs that speak to every tribe, tongue, and nation? Remember when the star led the wise men to Jesus?

“God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years.’” (Genesis 1:14)

The Bible indicates that the sun, moon, and stars do far more than mark physical time; they can reveal what is scheduled to take place on God’s calendar.

Joel 2:30–31saying: “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.”

Never have we seen such devastating effects in nature such as huge and significantly increased "earthquakes in diverse/unusual places", as spoken of in Bible prophecy.

Matthew 24:7- "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places."

This includes these horrible tsunamis and famines we're experiencing, like never before. Then the melting of icebergs, and animals and sea life dying off. I think a person would have to be blind, not to see that God is speaking to us.

@LadyGrace I’ve seen recent videos of very deep snows. One man in Utah had to climb on top of the snow in his 3rd floor attic window to be able to get inside of his cabin. The snow was 20 feet high all around the cabin, he went down two flights of stairs and showed how high the snow was up on the very tall windows in his living room….20 feet high. Also saw some deep snows engulfing homes in Finland and other places. I was thinking of what the spring thaw would be like and how many places would get flooded as a result and mudslides on mountains due to this too.

There have been flash floods in places like Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region. A devastating earthquake in Marrakech, Morocco. It seems to never end.
@cherokeepatti Yes. Prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes. And as you mentioned on another post of mine, all the Bible prophecies up to this date, have been fulfilled. I don't know what makes people think that the others won't be fulfilled, as well. They definitely will.

@LadyGrace Thank you for your introductory comments.

We'll have to disagree about the other comments. Our role is not to save ourselves but to help others become aware of God and attempt, however inadequately, to do His work, and in doing that save ourselves.

To concentrate on saving ourselves seems to forget His central idea.
@Zeusdelight But the Bible says we cannot save ourselves. That's just it. Not by good deeds or anything else. It says we cannot earn or work our way to heaven. It is Jesus that does the saving.

Yeah it's okay that we disagree but we can still talk about it. If we don't take care of our own Souls like the Bible tells us to do, they will end up in a place we don't want them to. We must heed this warning from God.
@Zeusdelight Since I don't know you, may I ask you, do you follow the Quran or the Bible? Are you Buddhist? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God?
@Zeusdelight if you're interested, here's why I believe what I believe:

@LadyGrace I am a Christian. Given Jesus believed he was forsaken when on the Cross. I don't believe anyone can have more Faith than He. God decides who is and isn't saved, not humans.

We just need to battle on and trust in a God.
