Why Is Atheism So Important?

What good will atheism do when it's only a temporary condition?
It offers no hope for those who claim to be its follower; as a matter of fact, it takes away hope from those who need to have hope. It's a wonder why we have so many suicides.
It'll never win against the Truth of God being that it's a lie from the very beginning knowing that no lie can win out against the Truth of God.
Those who claim to follow it refuse to support it giving the lame excuse that they don't have to support it. Why? Do they know deep in their hearts that it really is a lie? If that is so, why do they keep following it? Do they really hate God that much?
Atheism is for the dead and not the living. As Jesus said in Luke 20:38, "For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.”
Understand, I'm seeking answers and not arguments.

Atheists don't hate God, they just don't believe he exists. They are A-theists not anti-theists😉

It's still hate, plain and simple. How would it make you feel if the people you loved didn't believe that you existed and treated you as such? Think about it.

@GodSpeed63 I don't think that an imaginary being can feel, but one could imagine that it could, I imagine.....

The burden of proof is on you to show that God is imaginary.

I am flesh and blood, those I love can see, hear and feel me. They speak and I speak to them. God does not share those qualities. I have no proof of his existence. Since Christians say God gave us all free will, I have the choice to question and come to my own conclusions. Therefore, I chose to not believe in that which I have no proof of and to not follow a religion I can not stomach.

Do you really think that matters? They still hold the right to believe that you don't exist whether they see you or not.

Yes, the distinction does in fact matter. They would be choosing to believe that which can be proven to exist. None of the gods, Christian or otherwise, can be proven to exist.

They can also choose not to believe you exist even though you've proven to them that you do exist. The point I'm getting at is their right to choose to believe or not believe regardless of what you think of their choice.

And the relevance of this point when applied to a mythical creature is what exactly?

False gods are one thing, the one true God who lives forever, is another. Tell me, would your disbelief in the one true God change the fact that He does live? Granted you have that right not to believe in Him just like your family and friends have that right not to believe in you even though they can't change the fact that you, yourself live.

Since I question the validity of your base argument, that God is a real and a living being, there is no way for me to answer your question. It would be the same as me asking you:

"Tell me, would your disbelief in the existence of purple, flying, one-eyed monsters on Saturn change the fact that they do in fact live?"

Now I know I can't provide proof that they exist but I am telling you they do. Never seen one myself but I have faith.

Do you actually believe this?

Sarcasm son. It's a language many speak. You may want to brush up on it😉

Sarcasm son.

In other words, you don't believe it. Sarcasm doesn't help you make your point any. There are three types of evidence that confirm that God lives: His Spirit, His Word, and His Work. I've experienced them in my life and witnessed them in the lives of others. I do not know why you disbelieve in Him but I'm here to share the Truth that He does live and that He loves you no less than He loves me or Jesus.

If believing in your god makes your life better, great! My life is better not believing in your god or anyone else's.

You have that right not to believe in the one true God. Whether your disbelief in Him is actually true or not is a different story.
