Why Do The Nations Rage, And The People Plot A Vain Thing?

No matter what man may do or say in this world, his knee will bow and his tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. People can deny Him, mock Him, ridicule Him, and spit in His face or burn His Word, but, in the end, they'll bow their knees of their own free will and confess with their tongues that He is Lord. Why? They'll be faced with the Truth and are not able to deny it any longer. This will include everyone, Believer and non-believer alike. Not one will be left out. So, why plot against God and His Christ?

Shadow, you've claimed that God doesn't live a number of times. All we're asking you to do is prove it.
YOU CANNOT PROVE A NEGATIVE!!! IT IS UP TO YOU TO PROVE HIS EXISTENCE!!!

YOU CANNOT PROVE A NEGATIVE!!!

You need to call God a negative in order to accommodate your disbelief in Him. Do you actually think that your disbelief in Him will change the fact that He does live?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 No, but the fact that you refuse to provide any evidence of his existence, and keep crying about the fact that I ask for it, tells me you have none.

Let me try to put it another way, see if you can grasp this very basic concept. Let's say you and I are having a conversation one day, walking along near my house, and I casually mention that I've got an autographed picture of Stephen King hanging on my wall. You are very naturally skeptical, and ask me for evidence. Since we're right near my house, the simplest thing for me to do would be to invite you into my living room and show you where I keep the picture. But instead of doing that, I start demanding that you prove your claim that I don't have an autographed picture of Stephen King. I insist that the burden of proof is on you, and claim that you've made a positive claim that I don't have an autographed picture of Stephen King. You would, as a result, conclude that I am lying about having an autographed picture of Stephen King.

You've made the claim that you have evidence that there is a God. But when I ask you for this evidence, you repeatedly demand evidence that there isn't one. If you had any evidence at all whatsoever for the existence of God, the simplest thing to do would be to provide it. Yet you refuse, so I must conclude you don't have any.

No, but the fact that you refuse to provide any evidence of his existence,

I can't add to what God has already done. If you can't accept what God has already done to prove Himself to mankind is your problem, not mine. So, the burden of proof is on you to show that God doesn't live.

@GodSpeed63
I can't add to what God has already done.
You can at least attempt to prove that he's done anything. Your absolute refusal to do so tells me you can't.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire
You can at least attempt to prove that he's done anything.

Your refusal to show that God doesn't live only shows that He does live.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 I'm refusal to what? Now you're not even making sense. You're getting your words confused.

@LordShadowfire
I'm refusal to what?

Let me put it to you this way then: it you can't support your own claim that God doesn't live, then Truth remains, that He does live.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 If you can't support your own claim that Corvus Blackthorne isn't a raven, the truth remains that he is.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire
I'm refusal to what?

Thank you for the correction.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 You are welcome. Now let's get back to it, shall we?

This God creature. This being you insist exists, outside of space and time, outside of nature, that allegedly created the laws of nature. This contradiction of a being, that would basically obliterate everything that is known about the laws of physics if it existed.

Where's your evidence for its existence?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire
Where's your evidence for its existence?

Show me evidence that God doesn't live and you'll have your evidence that He does live. Until then, the ball is in your court, do with it as you will.

@LordShadowfire
That is such twisted bullshit!

I take it that you have nothing. If you can't show us that God doesn't live, then get used to the fact that He does live and, instead of judging Him, try getting to know Him on a personal basis.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 I'm not the one that has anything to prove. You have not proven anything about your invisible friend. I must conclude that he doesn't exist, because you can't prove him.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire
I'm not the one that has anything to prove.

Then get used to the fact that God lives and His Word being the Truth.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 It's not a fact until you prove it.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire
It's not a fact until you prove it.

You've already this one, pal, before you even started.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GodSpeed63 So you can't prove it.
