OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME

Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Say this prayer twice a day, every day, with a sincere and humble heart and see what happens.

Love, Light and Peace,
Scott
Much the same as the idea around the Jesus Prayer. Of praying ceaselessly. In Pure Land Buddhism it is the Nembutsu, Namu-Amida-Butsu. In essence a cry/response of gratitude to each and every moment. Over the years it morphs into "thank you" and in a sense it is a poor persons way of realising the Great Way of the Hsin Hsin Ming:-

The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences. When like and dislike are both absent, everything becomes clear and undisguised. Make the smallest distinction, however, and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart. If you wish to see the truth, then hold no opinions for, or against, anything. To set up what you like against what you dislike is the disease of the mind. When the deep meaning of things is not understood, the mind's essential peace is disturbed to no avail.

Shinran, one of the "fathers" of Pure Land Buddhism, emphasised that even "our" sincerity is a gift of Amida. And as Thomas Merton once said, we can never be humble enough.

Faith does not arise
Within ourselves
The Entrusting Heart is itself
Given by the Other Power.

No other text on the planet has fortold the realities of this world and the events of our history with
perfect accuracy like the Scriptures of the Most High Lord God. And did Hsin Hsin Ming ( interesting that the word SIN is in his name ), did he part the Red Sea, raise an army of dry bones to life ( Ezekiel chapter 37 ),
feed 5000 people from a few loaves and fishes, and many other miracles and even have a calendar system started at his birth. If you want to be honest with yourself, you just have to face the facts.
@ArcAngel No, not perfect accuracy. As is apparent to anyone who sees just how so many throughout history have read totally different events into the very same words.

And really, if you believe every tall tale in the Bible - most of which were never intended to be taken literally, then you really need a refresher course in simple Biblical hermenuetics by reputable scholars and christians.

Oh, and well done for totally missing every point of spiritual significance in my post.

Talk about blind leaders of the blind!

All the best.

Yea, when I tried it, it wouldn't play. It's worked before, so maybe if you wait a little bit, it will work again.
[c=800000]Prayer[/c]
A recited incantation designed to force or cajole a deity or deities into changing the normal, existing, or probable course of events in the universe, obtain an advantage, or avoid a divine penalty. Also an expression of gratitude or adulation, or an affirmation of continual fear, made to a deity.

A prayer is often accompanied by a promise or a sacrifice (the firstborn, money, giving up a favorite vice, not lying, a select bit of food the priests can eat) to seal or satisfy the agreement. A spell.

I didnt know the lords prayer was a scripture mat :6:10-13. I thought it was one long prayer all together.

Yea, it's right there in the scriptures.
Du betest voll viel
Du betest voll viel
Du betest
Morgens, mittags, abends betest du
Voll viel betest du

Und während du betest
Währenddessen
Während du betest
Während du betest
