With Jesus in my heart, I pray that we will be.

The persecution is here and growing

@graphite Yes it certainly is, and I'm glad that somebody can see it and not hide their head in the sand. 👍

I think we'll go through more than we think and it won't be easy by any means, but God will see us through, as always. As I wrote in my latest post about prophecy, I'm grateful we won't have to face the tribulation period.

You are hardly going to face persecution in the USA.
But if you were in China that would be another matter, and in Islamic Countries. And it seems India too and Myanmar.
So a lot of our brothers and sisters have a very hard time.
@SW-User I have a long time friend in the UK that says some Christians are having to hide that they're having worship services. Many having to hide the fact that they are Christians and they sneak to worship together.

@LadyGrace Soon, UK would be a colony.

@TheOrionbeltseeker News to me!
Of which country?
ClydeKoolray · 46-50, M
I’d like to think if put to the test I would show my resolve, but realistically in the United States, I don’t have to worry about it. While some sensitive people may feel persecuted, Christianity is culturally (and politically) the dominant religion still, and separation of church and state does not prevent me at all from living according to my conscience.
@ClydeKoolray Oh yes you do. Maybe it hasn't come to your state yet or whatever but it sure has to mind and a church was burned with people in it but praise God nobody got hurt but the building suffered great damage. Every once in a while you hear of a church being burned. And I'm sure there's other threats going on to Christians around the world and even in the United States that some may not be aware of but it's getting worse and it will get even more worse. It is prophesied.

Why didn't god save them ? Another example of it's indifference to human suffering. Used as an example to prove a point ?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@kodiac
you don't have proof, you have an opinion. For all you know i could be the king.
I don't need any opinions of God's work. I've experienced Him in my own life and have given testimony to His work in my life. I am one that tells the truth regardless of what your opinions may be.

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Romans 1:18-21

@GodSpeed63 it's impossible to have a conversation when all you have are bible quotes. What all of that shows me is once again you refuse to engage with anyone that questions your opinions. You believe you know but have no way to show me what you say is reality. Your truth is uour own ,it doesn't have to be mine . Your answer is to use passive aggressive bible quots to try to frighten me with hell fire and brimstone .
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@kodiac
it's impossible to have a conversation when all you have are bible quotes.
It's the Word of God and it's the only solid Truth we have in this fallen world.
you refuse to engage with anyone that questions your opinions
I have no opinions where my Savior and Lord is concerned.
Your truth is uour own
Nobody owns truth, not even you. The Truth is for everybody.

No, you aren't.

Really, if others are going to post comments directed at me and mute so as to make the entire comment unavailable for me to see, I can only return to totally blocking some users.

It seems the best option.
Graylight · 51-55, F
No one's "sneaking" Christianity into places anymore.

No one wants to kill you for your faith. Only to explain what you call certainty with some kind of evidence.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
The moral of the story being that religious politics never ends well. :)
ArcAngel · 61-69, M
I'm already facing it on this site! LOL

Love, Light and Peace,
Scott
@ArcAngel You’re actually comparing people disagreeing with you to being crucified? How do you expect anyone to take you seriously?
