60. And Gangleslotte declared himself mayor of the whole earth, saying, "This planet you have created is now mine!" 61. But Farblesnozz was not moved. He allowed Gangleslotte's boasting to go unchallenged, and said:
62. "I shall allow you free reign of the Earth for three thousand years, that you may try to deceive the people into following you. 63. But after three thousand years, I shall return, and your reign will be over. 64. You and all of your followers will be condemned to the mines of Schmickleton, there to dig dirt from the ground for all eternity. 65. But my chosen people will not be fooled by your lies and your deception, 66. and they will follow Me and live forever in Erewhon."
