Believing In Evolution Is Dangerous

[media=https://youtu.be/8YZJN_G_ufI]

Evolution never happened; God already established that He created the Heavens and the Earth. Believing in evolution can't change that. Debates should be discussed on other subjects and not on God and His Word. God has proven Himself to mankind through His Word and His work. Man can never change what God has already established even before the foundations of the Earth.

@Axeroberts
i think it depends on the level of evolution.

You say you believe in God, yet you contradict him. Where do you actually stand? You say you believe in God yet not as our sole Creator, as the Bible says. That's really confusing. You either believe in evolution or in God as Creator. You cannot mix the both. You cannot believe in God and His Word, and also in evolution, because that is not supported by the Bible in any way, and in fact, contradicts it. You must make up your mind what you believe and why.

The Bible says a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:8
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

@LadyGrace I do believe in God the Creator but not the Bible literally
@Axeroberts if that makes me feel so sad, I know it does the same to God.
@Axeroberts Having faith means that you build your life on God's Word and believe in Him and His Word and promises; you conduct yourself according to God's Word and trust that God, whom has said it, guides everything. To believe in God means living according to His Word, out of love for Him and what He did to atone for our sins on the cross. God and the Bible are truth - truth cemented in the reality of a King who came as Word in the flesh. It is His flesh, God's, I love you, that is the one certainty of our lives. The one Hope we can count on. Look where faith comes from:

@LadyGrace The Dao says a man who travels on two roads go nowhere.
@sree251
The Dao says a man who travels on two roads go nowhere.

I don't recognize nor acknowledge Dao, but I do recognize and know Christ, and He said, "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. The fool says in his heart, there is no God."
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace The fool can also say in his heart that there is God. Here in America, everybody - including the President - lies.
@sree251 The fool can say anything he likes, but God never lies. God said that the wise turn to Him for salvation. People are not smarter nor wiser than God and they never will be, though they think they are. They'll be sadly mistaken and realize that when they meet the Lord face to face.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace God may never lie, but is not our concern. Our focus is on the fool.
@sree251 Good luck with that theory.
@sree251 oh but it is our concern, because what we decide, determines where our soul will spend eternity and that's something we don't want to leave to chance.

For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:34-38
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace You said God made us. Therefore, we have a beginning and not eternal like God is. Anything that has a beginning also has an end.
@sree251 don't forget that God made us in His image and he gave us a soul which is eternal and has no end. Our body dies but our souls live forever and that's what he told us in His Word. It's not up to man to change that and he couldn't if he wanted to.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace Our body dies but our souls live forever. So, I have two things: a body and a soul. What am I?
@sree251 but don't forget. Later our bodies resurrect to be with and to join our soul wherever it ends up and that is biblical.

You are God's living creation. Fashioned in His image but you are not God!
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace Are you repeating what you read or telling me something you have realized to be true?
@sree251 Both. I studied all "religions" but I go strictly by, study, and believe God's Word because I know He is no liar and I experienced the "new birth", the transformation of one's life by the Holy Spirit, when one accepts Jesus as Savior. However, religion is described as man-made philosophy and has nothing to do with salvation. Religion didn't die in the cross for our sins. Jesus did. That makes it a personal relationship, not some religion of the world.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace Sounds like you are an anabaptist, born again in the Holy Spirit.
@sree251 I am a born-again Christian. Not a denomination. Not a religion.
Sounds like you are an anabaptist, born again in the Holy Spirit.

You need not label me and my beliefs. God's Word says that anyone who accepts Jesus as their personal Savior in this world, are "born again" in the Holy Spirit.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace I am not putting you in a pigeon hole. Born again Christians profess different paths to God. You are not the only born again Christian I have conversations with in this forum.
@sree251 no I didn't think you were putting me in a pigeonhole haha. Well that depends on what you call a born again Christian. Now that means different things to different people and some misinterpret its meaning. Their meaning does not coincide with God's Word, in other words. And salvation means a lot of things to different people as well as spirituality, but God is the one who sets the standard and definition for these. Some people have been lied to by false teachers and therefore they are not really born again Christians because I don't know one born again Christian who thinks there are many paths to Christ because that is not what he taught in His Word. God said there is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is death, both physical and spiritual death. Not all will see heaven who claim to be in love with God because their definition has been distorted by something or someone and they have straight away from God's definition of how to be saved and have eternal life in heaven. Only one plan works and God said there's only one way to heaven and that is through his only son Jesus whom he approved and appointed to be savior of this world.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace I don't call anyone a born again Christian. It is they who call themselves born again Christians just as you have.
@sree251 but you mentioned that phrase in your post. I call myself a born again Christian yes, because that is what God says followers of Christ are, and describes people who willingly come to him, asking Jesus to forgive them of their sins and who have then received the Holy Spirit. That term "born again" is actually in God's Word. Nothing Christians make up.

John 3:3 - "Jesus replied, "Truly truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God, unless he is born again."
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LadyGrace I interpret that "born again" quote differently.
@sree251 You may, but Jesus meant it one way, and explained what that meant. Not meant to be interpreted any other way. He made it plain and clear to understand. What did it mean to you?
