Believing In Evolution Is Dangerous

Evolution never happened; God already established that He created the Heavens and the Earth. Believing in evolution can't change that. Debates should be discussed on other subjects and not on God and His Word. God has proven Himself to mankind through His Word and His work. Man can never change what God has already established even before the foundations of the Earth.

Yeah we can. The Bible condones slavery. Tells you who to buy them from, how much to pay , how long you can keep them, and how to force them to stay in your service for life. We Don’t do that anymore. We don’t go take kids out and stone them to death for misbehaving. It’s ok to eat shellfish. Same sex marriage is legal. We get rid of god’s laws when they become obsolete and inconvenient. Even Jesus said they were unchanging. But we still find ways to do it.

@DocSavage Seems like you are looking for the kind of trouble that the Bible teaches us o avoid. No wonder there is so much suffering in the world.

Pointing out the bible is subject to reinterpretation when it’s inconvenient.
God is out of date by two thousand years. Science upgrades when we get new information. Shouldn’t god do the same thing ?

@DocSavage The Ten Commandments are timeless. No society is upgrading the penal code.

The Ten Commandments are narcissistic. The first four are about him.

@DocSavage It depends on your interpretation of those Commandments. Take the First Commandmanent for instance.

First Commandment: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image", under the Augustinian division used by Roman Catholics and Lutherans.

This makes a lot of sense to me. It tells us not to make an idol out of yourself. Self-worship. In America, we idolize movie stars, rock stars, sports stars, and every mother's son and daughter who has more than a million followers on social media. Elvis Presley was killed by this kind of madness. It was just to hard to become the King.

“The image is one thing and the human being is another. It’s very hard to live up to an image, put it that way.”
— Elvis Presley
