Believing In Evolution Is Dangerous

Evolution never happened; God already established that He created the Heavens and the Earth. Believing in evolution can't change that. Debates should be discussed on other subjects and not on God and His Word. God has proven Himself to mankind through His Word and His work. Man can never change what God has already established even before the foundations of the Earth.

believing in some form of evolution does not negate a Creator. One should not be pitted against the other
@Axeroberts But it does. It calls God a liar. We either believe all of God's word or none of it. God said he created everything and that's what he meant. I don't know why that's so hard for people to accept. God is no liar and if it weren't for him we wouldn't even have science.

@LadyGrace but it doesn't say that evolution is not a part of His creation either.
@Axeroberts It says just the opposite. Please don't read into that. If it's not, it's not, and God said that He created everything. There's no room for evolution and Him, both. God is not a liar.

@LadyGrace well we all know things evolve in their own way. Just look at plate tectonics
@Axeroberts I'm talking about the initial creation of things. Yes things evolve over time but they did not just involve on their own from nothing, from the very beginning and God told us that in His Word

@LadyGrace i don't need the bible to know God created it. And I was not referring to the origin of life. Just how it evolves once here. Evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life

@Axeroberts
Evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life
You got that right. God is the Author of life.

@GodSpeed63 He is. We just don't know how on a scientific level
@Axeroberts Don't tell me people are changing their story now. 😁 they need to make up their mind because scientists have constructed a timeline of events that [supposedly] began with the Big Bang and has led to the current state of cosmic evolution. When people these days talk about evolution, what they're usually referring to is that the world and the universe came about from nothing and that's what I'm referring to, their theory. Again, creation did not evolve on its own without the Creator God, and that's why people do need the Bible, because it doesn't leave us to guess on that. It tells us exactly how the universe was created and man would not know that on his own. What are your thoughts on that?

Evolutionary theory does encompass ideas and evidence regarding life's origins(e.g., whether or not it happened near a deep-sea vent, which organic molecules came first, etc. In fact, the theory suggests humans evolved from modern apes.
@Axeroberts
We just don't know how on a scientific level
We don't have to know how on a scientific level. We know on a Biblical level. It didn't leave us to guess and that's why we need the Bible, because it tells us our past, present, and even our future, in great detail. Something we would not have known about without the Bible. We can't separate the two. God is the Word, Incarnate.

[c=BF0000]John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him;[/c]

@LadyGrace but without reaching forward and learning about our world we will never develop as a society. We may as well stayed in the caves. It's our nature to learn how things work. God did not create this by magic but through scientific means
@Axeroberts
but without reaching forward and learning about our world we will never develop as a society. We may as well stayed in the caves. It's our nature to learn how things work.
Of course!
God did not create this by magic but through scientific means
It is our nature to learn how things work, yes, but it's not natural to believe that it was because of science that we learn and know about these things. None of these things, nor science, would exist without God. And God didn't need science to create things. He is the one that created science and he is the one that created all things as he spoke them into existence.

[c=BF0000]He spoke, and it came to be: Psalm 19; 33; 139[/c]

We need to give God credit, where credit is due and that's not to man. God spoke the universe into existence. God's creative act of speaking matter, life, and being, into existence out of nothing, sets him apart as God. This is one reason we worship God.

As the psalmist wrote: [c=BF0000]"By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; He puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth show respect to the Lord; let all the people of the world, revere Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm. Psalm 33:6-9[/c]

@LadyGrace but that doesn't explain how
@Axeroberts Then maybe you didn't read what I wrote because it does explain how. Exactly how.

As the psalmist wrote:"By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; He puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth show respect to the Lord; let all the people of the world, revere Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm. Psalm 33:6-9

@LadyGrace not very scientific.
@Axeroberts This world needs to get its priorities in order, not be obsessed so much about how things came about, but about the most important thing we need to know and that is how to have salvation and eternal life in Jesus Christ. If we miss that, we have missed everything and nothing else will matter.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace don't avoid the subject.
@Axeroberts Really? It's more than scientific. It's amazing, marvelous, astonishing, and a miracle how God created and put everything in its place and in which it still maintains to this day.
@Axeroberts oh please. I answered everything you asked me, commented on it, and then added my own thoughts. I guess that's not good enough for you. Well I'm sorry but you fail to see the big picture and it looks like you would do anything to find fault and disprove God, given your comments. Good luck with those theories because they don't come from God or His Word.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace well I thought we were talking science
@Axeroberts we were and we are and we're comparing that with God who made science and created science
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace ok. Gotcha
